A Night for DeSales Raises More Than $220K
Hundreds of alumni and friends of the University dressed in their best and returned to campus for the 42nd year of dinner and dancing.
A Night for DeSales was held in the DeSales University Center for the first time on March 11. The event featured a Centaur and Bulldog Pub, a French Quarter, live music, and fun games, including Pop-A-Shot basketball, a pinball machine, and a claw machine with DSU swag.
“There was something for everyone,” says Sylvia Doyle, director of special events. “If you weren’t dancing, you were able to go to the pub or the French Quarter. It gave our guests the chance to really move around and mingle.”
The event raised more than $220,000 with all proceeds benefiting student financial aid.
