Making the decision to transfer is a big one!

Transfer students learn quickly what makes DeSales so different from other schools. You will be welcomed by genuinely friendly peers, faculty with open-door policies and small lecture classes. Come see the DeSales difference.

With DeSales' generous transfer policy, you can transfer up to 25 three-credit courses toward your DeSales degree. If you already have an Associate's degree, all your credits will transfer to DeSales.

How to Transfer to DeSales

In just three steps you can apply to transfer to DeSales University

  1. Use our FREE undergraduate application. You can skip both the essay and the letters of recommendation portion. NOTE: In the essay box simply put "transfer student."
  2. Send us your official high school transcript and official college transcript from each college you attended.
  3. Complete the Transfer Questionnaire (PDF).

Admissions Requirements and Deadlines

A minimum GPA of a 2.5 is preferred, but students with GPA above 2.0 may still be considered for admission. The following majors have additional selection criteria: Dance, Theatre, Education, and Nursing. See Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

Recommended Application Deadlines

  • Fall Semester: July 1 (Recommended)
  • Spring Semester: December 1 (Recommended)

Transfer Tuesdays

Join us for Transfer Tuesdays to meet with your Transfer Admissions Counselor and discuss transfer credits, scholarships, and completing your college degree. Campus tours are available during our in-person sessions at 10 a.m., and Virtual Transfer Tuesdays are offered at 2pm.
