Welcome, Eric Asaris—Trexler Library’s New Access Services Coordinator

Eric graduated from DeSales University in 2005 with a bachelor’s in English. Prior to working at Trexler Library, Eric served as a freelance newspaper and web reporter, a weekend web producer for WMFZ-TV, a medical records clerk, and a branch manager for the Bucks County Free Library system.

In his new position, Eric will be supporting and hiring our work study students as well as assisting patrons at our Circulation Desk and leading our Access Services Team in Trexler Library. Regarding his new adventure, Eric says, “It’s been a while since I’ve been at DeSales, but everybody here has been incredibly welcoming while I settle in. It feels a bit like returning home after a long journey.”

When not working, Eric likes to read (enjoys horror novels the most), watch classic comedies (especially The Three Stooges and movies from the 80s), and create digital paintings.
