Trexler Tuesday: Open Access Week at Trexler Library

Trexler Library is celebrating Open Access Week! International Open Access Week is a time to coordinate taking action to make openness the default of research and ensure equity is at the center of all infrastructures. 

Traditional scholarly research data and publications can only be accessed through subscription-based plans or the individual purchase of research articles. This system has created barriers to knowledge for students, researchers, and librarians alike. Open Access provides free, open, and immediate access to research to everyone. Hundreds of journal publications participate in keeping their research and information accessible to all individuals regardless of socioeconomic or educational status.
