Trexler Library

Now that Trexler Library can once again provide access to our book collection, we’ve added print books to our growing Anti-Racism Resources guide. This guide is intended to assist the DeSales University community in learning about white supremacy and systemic racism in America and develop strategies to dismantle it through anti-racism. Students, faculty, and staff are encourage to explore the pages and utilize the variety of resources for their personal anti-racism education.

A robust collection of books has been added to the Books page under Resources by Content Type, including books on understanding race, structural racism in the United States, recent memoir, and fiction. These books include new purchases and are a mix of print and electronic sources, so our community can access them on campus or from home. We were guided by the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture’s Black Liberation Reading List in selecting books for this page.

If you have questions about these sources or our Anti-Racism Resources guide, please reach out to Trexler Library at reference@desales.edu.
