Student Nurses’ Association Praised for Community Work

DeSales University’s Student Nurses’ Association (SNA) is getting some love from the Student Nurses’ Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP).

SNAP recently featured two photos of DeSales SNA members on its official Instagram page, praising the students for their work in the community. In February, the SNA board held a free, public event educating students and community members on their role in emergent situations and how to effectively control bleeding. 

SNA also recently elected its board for the 2020-2021 academic year. Congratulations to the following members: Prexnie Legrand (president), Nina Bermillo (vice president), Alexis Ciarletta (treasurer), Allison Nicinski (media director), Renee Lepley (mentoring director), Megan Melapioni (secretary), Andrew Huggins (traditional senior class liaison), Christopher Morton (traditional junior class liaison), and Jennifer Bush (ACCESS class liaison).
