DeSales Students Attend March for Life
More than 40 members of the DeSales community joined thousands of demonstrators to make their voices heard at the March for Life.
Pro-Life Club President Isabel Fernandez ’20 (above, center, with Pro-Life Club Officers Mary Cris Guerin and Ellen Mountcastle) organized the trip to the nation’s capital along with Maggie Riggins, director of Campus Ministry. It was Fernandez’s sixth time at the march.
“Peaceful protest reminds society as a whole that unborn children and their mothers matter and deserve to be treated in a humane way,” she says. “The March for Life allows us to gather as a community in love and unity; it gives us a deep sense of family and peace as we fight the battle to end abortion, infanticide, and the abuse of women.”
