Colleen Bolks, MSN, RN, CNS, CEN
Instructor of Clinical Nursing
Colleen Bolks is an Instructor of Clinical Nursing for the Division of Nursing. Her clinical experience includes emergency medicine and trauma. She is the recipient of a Friends of Nursing award for her excellence in preceptorship of her nursing colleagues.
Mrs. Bolks assists within the Division of Nursing to support students in their clinical and simulation experiences. In addition, she supports students as they prepare to take the newly designed nursing board examination through in-class instruction.
Mrs. Bolks is the current faculty counselor of the Mu Omicron Nursing Honor Society, DeSales' Chapter of Sigma. She has traveled several times internationally to Honduras to serve on medical mission trips.
Mrs. Bolks received her BS in Biopharmaceutical Engineering from Lehigh University with a Minor in Health and Human Development, her BSN from DeSales University, and her MSN as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from DeSales University. In addition, she holds national certification as an Emergency RN (CEN) and multiple trauma-focused certifications including her ENPC and ATCN.
