Milan Misko
Adjunct Instructor of Ballet
Milan Misko is a NYC-based dancer, dance film-maker, and educator. He received his early training at Kansas City Ballet School and Jo Noth's White Oak Dance Academy. In 2008, he earned his BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase and went on to work with many dance companies including the Merce Cunningham Dance Company RUG, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Kazuko Hirabayashi Dance Theater, TAKE Dance, Connecticut Ballet, CONTINUUM Contemporary / Ballet, Buglisi Dance Theatre, and Setsuko Kawaguchi Ballet, Japan.
Milan was a part of Jessica Lang Dance for 7 years with whom he traveled both nationally and internationally performing leading roles and teaching master classes and workshops. In 2013, Milan's first dance film, Transportation, was selected for Lincoln Center's Dance on Camera Festival, and he continues to produce videos and dance films for many dance companies and artist. Milan has choreographed for Bucknell University, Take Dance, and has served as a faculty member at Hunter College, and Randolph University.
