Fr. Shaju Kanjiramparayil OSFS, Ph.D.

Fr. Shaju OSFS is an assistant professor of psychology. Prior to joining the department of social sciences at DeSales University, he earned a Ph.D. from Salesian University in Rome (UPS), an MSc in Psychological Counseling from the University of Bangalore, B A from the university of Mysore, B A (Theology) from Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram, Bangalore, and B A (Philosophy) from Suvidya college, Bangalore.

His interests include studying the influence of self-efficacy beliefs in undertaking and facing challenging situations and to help students improve their efficacy beliefs.

He has been teaching and in administration for 11 years before he joined DeSales University. Fr. Shaju has been an Oblate priest for over 22 years. He serves DeSales University as a member of the Oblates’ Indian Region.
