DeSales doesn't do traditional “dorms.” Our residence halls are modern and spacious, making the adjustment to college life that much easier. All first-year residential students live in suites of four–two students each in a double room, with a shared bathroom in the middle. That means, no communal bathrooms to worry about.
While the DUC will likely be your go-to dining hall, offering three meals a day, tons of snacks, and an amazing view, you can find whatever fare you’re craving on campus. Grab a sandwich from Jimmy John’s. Enjoy made-to-order sushi and poke bowls at Wild Blue Sushi. Sip on fresh fruit juice or a smoothie from natural!, or grab a latte at Starbucks in the Skylight Lounge. Worried about dietary restrictions? We’ll accommodate those too.
From your first day at DeSales, we’re here to support your career and educational goals. Students benefit from special courses, one-on-one coaching, internships, and job shadowing. Gain confidence in interviews, resume writing, and networking. Your career journey is a big part of your life path, and you’ll graduate from DeSales prepared for what’s ahead.
DeSales is guided by the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal. This “Salesian” spirituality is grounded in the virtues of humility and gentleness, encouraging each person to “be who you are and be that well in order to give honor to the Master Craftsman whose work of art you are."
Classes, work, life — college isn't always easy and can sometimes be overwhelming. DeSales is committed to making sure you have the resources to stay healthy and well, both physically and mentally, during your time here.
