Increase your marketability and earn two degrees in just 5 years. The DeSales accelerated 5-Year BA/MAHS Degree Program at DeSales University is open to students in their junior year majoring in homeland security, criminal justice, and psychology, and who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. If admitted, you will take three Homeland Security graduate courses during your senior year. These courses will count both towards the completion of your undergraduate degree and a Master of Arts in Homeland Security. You can pursue a Master’s concentration in either Counterterrorism Digital Forensics, Counterterrorism Investigations, or Emergency Management.

Eligible students can apply during their junior year to the 5-Year BA/MAHS Degree Program. Students in their junior year majoring in homeland security, criminal justice, and psychology, and who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher, are eligible to apply to the program. Speak with your faculty advisor to remain on track for the program and for guidance during the application process.
If admitted into the 5-Year BA/MAHS Degree Program, students will begin taking graduate-level courses during their senior year of undergraduate study. These three graduate courses will count both towards the completion of their undergraduate degree and MAHS degree. Since the MAHS program is itself fully online, students will not have to worry about building their senior year schedule around these graduate courses.
The undergraduate tuition and fees apply only to the undergraduate portion of the program. As you progress into the graduate phase of the program, graduate tuition and fees apply. While this may seem overwhelming, don’t worry, we are here to help you
