Program Highlights

The Connelly Chapel of the Sacred Heart

  • Following DeSales University’s Salesian tradition, Connelly Chapel sits on the top of the hill, offering a great view of the entire campus. The worship space is , shaped like the inverted hull of a large ship, which makes the sound of voices and the organ clear. The chapel features stained glass windows depicting various academic disciplines.

The Austin Opus 2800 Organ

  • The Austin (Opus 2800) pipe organ features a visible Great division with a rich diapason chorus and a Swell division that reflects  a classic English style. It is perfect for performing a wide range of musical pieces. The Choir/Orchestral organ includes a third chorus with many solo voices and color. The organ’s rosewood console is movable, built on an enclosed dolly system for flexibility
