Biography

Ontaria Kim Wilson is an actor, choreographer, director, and writer based out of Philadelphia, PA.  Ontaria is a founding member of Rennie Harris Puremovement Hip Hop Theatre Company and has choreographed and toured with recording artists: Gina Thompson, Eve, and Teddy Pendergrass. Ontaria has choreographed for the Wilma Theatre, Interact Theatre, and EgoPo Classic Theatre.  
 
Recent directing credits include Temple University , The Rhythm-A Gregory Hines Story, Hands of Life, Shakespeare In Clark Park, Theatre Exile, Egopo Classic Theatre, The Wilma Theatre, and Theatre Horizon. 
 
Recent acting credits include Williamstown Theatre Festival, Arden Theatre, Interact Theatre Company, Theatre In The X, EgoPo Classic Theatre and Recent international exchange: The Ramayana in Yogyakarta, Indonesia (EgoPo Classic Theater, Kalanari Theatre Movement, Papermoon Puppet Theatre).
 
Her work as an author and playwright includes a publication of Beautiful Toxicity, Detox (playwright) , and two published co-authored anthologies: Bruised Broken and Blessed and Slay Your Legacy.

Ontaria has taught at Temple University and DeSales University.
