Dr. Ann Marie Loiseau is an assistant professor in the School of Nursing and has taught in various undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. She served as the director of services for 25 years at a large physician practice specializing in pain management. Her clinical nursing background includes hospital staff nurse in medical/surgical and pediatrics, ambulatory care, home health, case management, and community liaison for clients with traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. She volunteers at a free clinic in her community serving clients without health insurance and assists with youth drug and alcohol prevention programs. Dr. Loiseau serves on various boards and committees including the Penn-Ohio Association of International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals; Pennsylvania Association of Occupational Health Nurses; Susquehanna Valley of Pennsylvania Association of Occupational Health Nurses; and Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Conference Committee. She also serves on the editorial board for Workplace Health and Safety, an international, peer-reviewed journal. In 2025, she was presented with the Medique Leadership Award by American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) for outstanding occupational health nurse exhibiting leadership and professional activities in the Pennsylvania state association. In the past, she has received the Dorothy Staller Occupational Health Nurse Leadership Award, New Investigator Research Grant, and Health Literacy Research Conference Trainee Grant. Dr. Loiseau received a BSN from Bloomsburg University, MS in education from the University of Scranton, and DNP from DeSales University. She is a certified case manager (CCM); Educational Specialist I - school nurse (K-12); and Instructional I - elementary (K-6).
