School of Performing Arts
The School of Performing Arts prepares students for successful careers in entertainment with majors in dance, theatre, and TV/film. Students earn a Bachelor of Arts degree, which allows for minors or dual majors. It also offers opportunities for internships, study abroad, and experiential learning. Our state-of-the-art virtual production studio, the only one in the region, enhances the academic experience.

As a candidate for the DeSales Dance, Theatre, or TV/Film majors, you must apply and be accepted academically and artistically.
Learning Through Experience
The only one in the Lehigh Valley, this cutting-edge space offers hands-on experience with the latest virtual production technology, which has been used on shows such as “The Mandalorian” and “Star Trek: Discovery.”
Residencies and master classes enrich the student experience by letting them work directly with professional artists and industry experts.
The renowned production company gives students a chance to perform, learn, and innovate in high-quality shows on two stages, with audiences of 22,000 patrons each year.
Enriches performing arts education with professional theatre productions. It provides students with experience and connections with Equity actors and stage managers.
