Open Access Week
This week, Trexler Library is highlighting Open Access Week which is an international movement that seeks to grant free and open online access to academic information to everyone.
Publications, artwork, music, software and data are defined as “open access” when there are no financial, legal, or technical barriers to access them.
Here are a few resources to help you with your research during Open Access Week!
oa.works: library-owned nonprofit that created tools to help make research articles and papers available to all at no cost.
· Directory of Open Access Journals: thousands of open access journals and articles covering the sciences, humanities, arts and more.
· Creative Commons: openly licensed and public domain tool; can search more than 300 million images across several repositories.
· arXiv.org by Cornell University: open access to 662,023 eprints in physics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance, and statistics
