A Night for DeSales Honors Legacy, Raises Money for Financial Aid
It's no surprise that A Night for DeSales has become a cherished tradition—it’s an opportunity to witness the unwavering spirit and generosity of the DeSales community while having a memorable evening.
“A Night for DeSales is special because it is an elegant but fun event that brings together alumni, parents, community members, and friends all focused on providing financial aid for students,” says Sylvia Doyle, director of special events. “It’s great seeing everyone gather to celebrate and support our students while enjoying the entertainment.”
At this year’s 43rd annual reception, more than 400 alumni and friends were enchanted by the transformation of the DeSales University Center, replete with elegant bouquets, the soft glow of stars cascading from the ceiling, and performances by The Heartbeats and Dan Mies ’00. This year’s theme was “Celebrating the DeSales Legacy.”
When guests weren’t engaged in dinner and dancing, they partook in wine tastings, a dessert buffet and coffee bar, a video-photo booth, and a pub offering various fun activities, such as a claw machine where winners earned a Frankie the Bulldog plush.
