Welcome New Health Science & Nursing Librarian

Trexler Library is excited to welcome our new Health Sciences and Nursing Librarian, Kathleen Zamietra.

Kathleen graduated from DeSales in 2006 with a bachelor’s in History.  After graduation, she worked in several different libraries before going back to school for her master's.  She graduated with a Master's in Library and Information Sciences from Drexel University in 2014. 

Prior to returning to DeSales, Kathleen was a Senior Medical Librarian at LVHN and the Health Sciences & Nursing library liaison at Alvernia University.  She have extensive experience with evidence-based practice and searching our health databases. 

In regards to her new position, Kathleen says, “I’m so glad to be back at DeSales.”
