DeSales Named PNGAS Guard Friendly School

DeSales University is being recognized for its commitment to members and veterans of the Pennsylvania National Guard and their families. 

DeSales is one of just 30 schools statewide to be named to the Pennsylvania National Guard Associations’ (PNGAS) inaugural list of Guard Friendly Schools.  

“Being recognized as a PNGAS Guard Friendly School assures students that DeSales University follows best practices while providing a quality education to veterans and their families,” says Joann Haws, director of the Office of Veterans and Military Services. “And, as an office, the designation reminds us to continue to seek ways to better serve our student veterans and military students.” 

PNGAS is the only organization solely dedicated to the 19,438 members and more than 67,500 veterans of the Pennsylvania National Guard and their families.
