DeSales Students, Special Olympics Athletes to Play in Unified Soccer Games

On Sunday, September 23, dozens of Special Olympics athletes competed in Billera Hall in unified soccer games with DeSales students.

Unified soccer unites Special Olympics athletes (individuals with intellectual disabilities) and partners (individuals without intellectual disabilities) as teammates for competition. The unified games come just weeks before DeSales hosts the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Eastern Fall Sectional on Sunday, October 14.
