Suzanne Cressman is a board certified physician assistant. She initially studied undergraduate at Bloomsburg State College, obtaining a BS degree in Medical Technology, ASCP certified in 1982. She performed diagnostic testing in a hospital lab, later served in the US Peace Corps. There she utilized her manual lab skills, worked along local Papua New Guinean clinicians speaking Pidgin English. Returning to U.S.A., she ran a small laboratory in a Lehigh Valley Family Practice Office.
She soon followed her heart, serving the homeless children and adults in cities and other families in rural villages and towns of the Dominican Republic, Colombia and twice in Guatemala. She is bilingual in Spanish, which aided her service of different populations. She was involved in community outreaches through medical clinics and developmental projects.
In 2003-05 she studied in the DSU PA Program, and was the recipient of the program Director Award, class of 2005.
Most recently, she has enjoyed caring for a large panel of patients in the LVHN Family Medicine, which initially started as part of Lehigh Valley Access to Care program. She has cared for infants, children, adults and geriatric patients.
