Laura Schwendeman, MSPAS, PA-C

Laura Schwendeman, MSPAS, PA-C has been a board-certified physician assistant since 2018. She received her Bachelor of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2005. She worked in mental health as a crisis interventionist and county crisis supervisor for 10 years prior to returning to school, completing a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at DeSales University in 2018.

Laura has worked as a physician assistant in psychiatry since graduation and still works clinically one day per week, running a clozapine clinic for treatment resistant schizophrenia. Laura has precepted students in inpatient, outpatient, and liaison psychiatry for the last 3 years and joined the faculty as a clinical coordinator in October 2022.
