Minor in Catholic Studies
Declared minors in Catholic Studies will learn a variety of fundamental topics around the Catholic faith. The philosophy and theology courses offer engagement with the thinkers, artists, and saints who have shaped the faith.
Why Add a Minor in Catholic Studies?
By declaring a minor, you’ll be able to tailor your learning and further specialize your degree. A Catholic Studies minor will provide you with a basic understanding of philosophy, theology, and the Catholic faith in the Salesian tradition.
The junior- and senior-level seminars challenge students in matters of faith and current issues in an interdisciplinary setting.
The minor includes 6 courses and is indicated on your permanent record. This minor is open to students from any major and any religious background.
Students in the Salesian Honors Program will automatically earn the Catholic Studies minor as part of the completion of the honors program.
