Position: Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership

Type: Part Time Exempt

Location: Student Affairs

 Scope:

The Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership is a contract position renewable for up to 3 total years of service, (contingent upon performance in the position and continued graduate enrollment). The position is live-in. The Graduate Assistant will serve as the coordinator of specific programs under the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership. The Graduate Assistant should demonstrate support and contribution to the mission of DeSales University by their life within the DeSales University community.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Acceptance to a DeSales University graduate program (or comparable Master’s program at a nearby institution) required
  • Must maintain active enrollment in the above graduate program
  • Previous student activities, student engagement, student leadership and/or student government experience strongly preferred
  • Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
  • Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
