Welcome to the Division of Performing Arts at DeSales University, where we believe that creativity endeavors to elevate the human spirit. Our mission is to shape pathways of discovery that challenge and inspire students to fulfill their artistic, scholarly and professional capacities.
For over forty years, we have filled our stages with great plays, powerful ideas, outstanding talent, beautiful designs and glorious music. It is the hallmark and legacy of this program to deliver professional quality productions in the context of a true liberal arts education.

These programs are "programs of choice" for over 300 dynamic, young artists. Through these art forms, stories are written and worlds are created. Whether in the classroom or in production, our students demonstrate the extraordinary power of art to ignite the imagination and access the wisdom of the ages. Their artistry reminds us all of the power of beauty to inspire and transform.
In addition, we're proud of our alumni who are out working in the world, making a living through art and making a life enriched by an appreciation of discipline and beauty. We are proud of them for they have gone forth to help share their gifts with the world and to model the merits of a true liberal arts education.
